Edit Mode
The “Edit” mode is used to adjust or set
the values of numerous functions and
options in the MG2000. The procedure
below specifies the steps to be taken
in the “Edit” mode to adjust / set each
option.
To enter “Edit” mode press the “Mode”
and “Up” buttons while in “Normal”
mode.
To return to “Normal” mode press the
“Mode” button once while in “Edit” mode.
If no buttons are pushed for 30 seconds,
the unit will exit “Edit” mode and return to
“Normal” mode.
Functions that are set, adjusted or
observed in the “Edit” mode
1. Reset Fuel Used
2. Set Fuel Tank Full
3. Set Amount Of Fuel
4. Select Gauge Range (tach dial)
5. Calibrate Trim Sender (Down, UP
and Trailer”)
6. Select Engine Position (Starboard,
Port, Starboard Inner and Port
Inner)
7. Select Display Units (Pressure,
Volume, Temperature, Distance
and Depth)
8. Select Fuel Tank Size (Standard
= 25, 36, 40, 50, 55, 80 and 120.
Others 0 to 999)
9. Low Fuel Alarm
10. Fuel Tank Calibrate
11. Software ID and Revision
12. Depth Sounder Warnings (Shallow
0 to 99.9 ft. Keel offset +/- 19.9 ft)
13. Self Test
14. Enable Display Screens
15. Configure Speed (Calibrate Pitot,
Calibrate Paddlewheel, and Set
Transition Speed)
16. Invert Steering Angle (Normal and
Inverted)
17. Helm Select (Helm 1 and Helm 2)
