For us, we recognized Dr. Jose Rizal. He fought
for freedom not using deadly weapons. He was
engaged in different fields wherein he helped
the people and the nation as well in promoting
our freedom. At present, we hope that there
will be someone as mighty as Rizal for us to
achieve the real independence.

For me, Dr. Jose Rizal is my best hero because
he used his capacity & ability against the enemy
by using his mind through his writings.
He knew that we cannot win against the Spaniards
for we only had itak or bolo while Spaniards
used guns and bombs.Through him, we
discovered the purpose/aim of the Spaniards
- God, Glory and Gold. Their purpose was to
deceive the Filipino people.

Dr. Jose Rizal is my no. 1 Filipino hero. He
has many virtues that prove us that we are Filipino
in mind, heart, and deed. He, as a man
of peace, loves freedom. Above all, he honors
virtues over victory and value and sacrifices

Philippine Independence is somewhat related
to Philippine freedom. In which, our country
is a democratic one. Every Filipino is entitled
to have the right to express their own opinions.

Philippine Independence for me is the time
we Filipinos are given the chance to govern
our country and live it the way we should.
We enjoy democracy in our country which in
many ways give us chances to live our rights
as Filipinos. Because of this freedom, we are
also able to fight for our right and live as free
individuals in our country.

Awesome, isn’t it It’s good to know that youth nowadays still remember
the past. For me, real independence is not yet achieve at present. Why
Look at the environment, particularly the government. Look at the poor
people’s faces. Look at yourself. The real Philippine Independence does
not begin on the government. Let it begin on you!
