1st Question:
Who among the Filipino heroes you
admired most Why
Krisjane Simbajon &
Beverly Bodiongan
BSCMA-4
For us, we recognized Dr. Jose Rizal. He fought
for freedom not using deadly weapons. He was
engaged in different fields wherein he helped
the people and the nation as well in promoting
our freedom. At present, we hope that there
will be someone as mighty as Rizal for us to
achieve the real independence.
BSC-AB-4
For me, Dr. Jose Rizal is my best hero because
he used his capacity & ability against the enemy
by using his mind through his writings.
He knew that we cannot win against the Spaniards
for we only had itak or bolo while Spaniards
used guns and bombs.Through him, we
discovered the purpose/aim of the Spaniards
- God, Glory and Gold. Their purpose was to
deceive the Filipino people.
Nelson R. Tumala Jr.
BSED-3
Dr. Jose Rizal is my no. 1 Filipino hero. He
has many virtues that prove us that we are Filipino
in mind, heart, and deed. He, as a man
of peace, loves freedom. Above all, he honors
virtues over victory and value and sacrifices
over success.
2nd Question:
In your own point of view, what is
Philippine independence Why
Joahn L. Adrese
BSC-BA 4
Philippine Independence is somewhat related
to Philippine freedom. In which, our country
is a democratic one. Every Filipino is entitled
to have the right to express their own opinions.
Jeanelle D. Otero
BSHM 2
Philippine Independence for me is the time
we Filipinos are given the chance to govern
our country and live it the way we should.
We enjoy democracy in our country which in
many ways give us chances to live our rights
as Filipinos. Because of this freedom, we are
also able to fight for our right and live as free
individuals in our country.
Jeny Fe C. Pausal
BSOA 1
Philippine Independence, for me, is the time
when all Filipinos are liberated from any foreign
invasion. Many Filipinos died for freedom.
Independence helps us to go on with
our own lives freely and confidently.
BSA – 1
Apolinario Mabini is the Filipino hero I adored
most. He had proven that physical disabilities
are not barriers to success. He showed that
success doesn’t require perfect assets.
Jessel Lumacad
BSA-FM 3
Philippine Independence is the time that the
Filipinos long to achieve. Many things where
sacrificed – property, personal goals, families,
education and even innocent lives.
Cielito Joy G. Neri BSIT-1
For me, Dr. Jose Rizal is the hero I most admire.
I admire his intelligence and love toward
his fellowmen. He has been successful in
many fields.
Awesome, isn’t it It’s good to know that youth nowadays still remember
the past. For me, real independence is not yet achieve at present. Why
Look at the environment, particularly the government. Look at the poor
people’s faces. Look at yourself. The real Philippine Independence does
not begin on the government. Let it begin on you!
