Despite our best efforts <strong>to</strong> live a pretty active life and even with<br />

<strong>the</strong> height of modern forms of entertainment, <strong>the</strong>re comes a<br />

point when we just can’t help but feel bored. You know that<br />

feeling you get when you can’t seem <strong>to</strong> concentrate on what<br />

you’re doing and you can’t find anything else <strong>to</strong> do that picks<br />

your interests, that’s boredom. Boredom is inevitable, so whe<strong>the</strong>r<br />

you like it or not, you’re going <strong>to</strong> experience this unpleasant<br />

state every once in awhile. And what’s more, it can be a<br />

very dangerous condition for you because a bored mind usually<br />

wanders on crazy ideas, right And we all know that crazy ideas<br />

don’t always do us good. So, I’ve geared up all summer <strong>to</strong> help<br />

you break out of this rut. Just read <strong>the</strong>se simple steps below and<br />

fighting boredom will surely come easy.<br />

STEP 1: Dig out <strong>the</strong> root cause.<br />

There are a million possible reasons why you’re feeling bored. Figure <strong>the</strong>m out! If you can’t concentrate on<br />

what you’re doing, find out what’s bo<strong>the</strong>ring you. Boredom may seem like a simple dilemma but it’s actually a<br />

very complicated thing. Know whe<strong>the</strong>r you’re boredom is caused by an emotional, spiritual, physical or social<br />

issue, or if it’s depression, frustration, rejection, etc. Find out what’s causing boredom <strong>to</strong> attack, so that you’ll<br />

know how <strong>to</strong> counteract it.<br />

STEP 2: Get your blood flowing.<br />

Physiologically speaking, when blood is not pumping well, you’ll have weak production of adrenaline and endorphins.<br />

Without <strong>the</strong>se juices, you’ll feel lifeless and bored. So get <strong>the</strong>m flowing by doing something physical.<br />

Stroll off, hit <strong>the</strong> gym, or play some sports like badmin<strong>to</strong>n, basketball or volleyball. Do <strong>the</strong>se activities and<br />

you’ll not only kill boredom. You’ll get <strong>to</strong> burn some calories as well.<br />
