Never Hate
Hate is such strong word. We hate when we are harmed.
Most of the time, we hate for the wrong reason. Or we
hate because we don’t know how to forgive. They say it is
easy to forgive but it’s hard to forget. True. But to forgive
is still better than not having to forgive at all. Remember
that –give is in the word forgive. When we forgive, we give
people chances to make it up to us, to change or perhaps to
start anew. So never hate, instead forgive.
Don’t Worry
Aside from wrinkles and rapid ageing, depression is a killer
which is developed through too many worries. But the question
is, is it possible for us not to worry at all Apparently
yes, in fact people who don’t worry too much on problems
find the best and quick solutions to their problems. You see,
not worrying too much on things makes up a clear mind, a
happy state of being and a smile that adds up to more feasible
solutions to one’s problem. And if things are still going
bad, don’t worry because it wont last forever as things are
not permanent and as long as we continue to be positive.
Live Simply
To be happy is not to have all the luxuries we want, but rather
how we find happiness in the simple things that we have.
To dream for a more lavish life may not be harmful or hard,
but to live contented and happy is like living a dream. It is
when life is not complicated and living is a breeze. Whichever
lifestyle we are most comfortable with is where we find
more reasons to live and be happy.
Give a lot
Though the proverb “it’s better to give than to receive”
has been highly overrated, it is definitely true. If
the happiness we felt in receiving feels good to
the heart, then it does the same thing to the
person or entity we’ve given something.
Think of it this way. When we give,
we make someone happy. And
the happiness we feel in giving
is even more ultimate that in
receiving something. So, give
and make yourself happy.
Expect Little
Expectations are sometimes
created to become
our standards of success,
or as a means of satisfaction meter. When an expectation is reached
it would mean we succeeded or perhaps that we are satisfied. Yet
sometimes, we do not realize that as we expect too much, our standards
elevate to a much higher level, and as we fail in our pursuit to
achieve an expectation, we end up feeling like a failure. Or most of
the time, we fail to appreciate something because our expectations
were not met. We then become unhappy. Expect little instead, and
learn to appreciate.
Always Smile
“Frown and you frown alone, but smile and the whole world smiles
with you.” The proverb says pretty much of everything. If smiling
was a contagious disease which will make a person happy for the
rest of his life, would it be a good thing to get infected Happiness
is usually the stimulator of smiles. When one is happy, he exhibits it
through a smile. So always smile. Let the people around you know
that you’re happy and make them happy as well.
Stay in Love
They say love is a very powerful emotion, the most powerful perhaps.
Our literature, our lives, our songs and others are ruled over
by love. It is hard to define love and it may be defined differently.
But the most clear and probably most common definition of the
word is that it has the power to bind two people as one. But the goal
here is not to encourage you to marriage rather to remind us that
love doesn’t only bring happiness but also peace, hope and faith. If
we’ll stay in love and exhibit love, we make not only two but many
people as one.
Eat all you can
Although this may seem irrelevant to staying happy, I would beg to
disagree. Eating is the process of consuming food and turning
them into nutritional needs that our body requires for
growth. Eating for many of us is a feel-good habit, especially
when we get to eat the
food we love. You see, although
you may go on a diet but you
should never deny yourself
from eating, especially when
it makes you happy. Give
yourself a break, make yourself
happy and eat all you
can.
Make happiness not
just a word in the
dictionary or an
overrated statement.
Make happiness happen
to you today.
