Conn. The Sandersons have three<br />
children. Peter, a Wheaton (Ill.) <strong>College</strong><br />
and Bethel Seminary graduate, works as<br />
an actuary for Aetna in Hartford, Conn.<br />
Sherry Sanderson Blair ’02, who has a<br />
master’s in nursing from Yale, works<br />
as a pediatric nurse at Connecticut<br />
Children’s Medical Center in Hartford.<br />
Brandt, a Worcester Polytechnic Institute<br />
graduate, is a math teacher at Simsbury<br />
(Conn.) High School. The Sandersons<br />
have four grandchildren: Noah James, 3;<br />
Zephra Katheryn, 2½; Joshua Philip, 1;<br />
and Samuel Joseph, 10 months.<br />
Tim Lillie attended an open seminar<br />
for an English class studying Vietnam<br />
War literature.<br />

in Woburn, Mass., where he was<br />
manager, to the store in Natick, Mass.,<br />
four miles from his Wellesley residence.<br />
Roger’s wife, Didi, returned to<br />
coaching the girls’ varsity tennis team at<br />
Rivers School in Weston and continues<br />
as tennis director at Wayland Swim and<br />
Tennis Club. Son Max spent a few<br />
months in Israel on an internship and<br />
graduates from Massachusetts Maritime<br />
Academy in December. Son Ben sells<br />
cars at Clay Nissan in West Newton,<br />
Mass. Daughter Kate gave Roger his<br />
first grandchild, Amelia, 1. Daughter<br />
Jill manages a dermatology practice<br />
in Marblehead, Mass.<br />

Lad Nagurney’s daughter graduated<br />
from high school this year, was considering<br />
<strong>Lafayette</strong>, and had visited campus.<br />
Hopefully, there will be a second<br />
Leopard in Lad’s family next year.<br />
Henry Dubroff, chair and editor for<br />
Pacific Coast Business Times, accepted the<br />
publication’s fifth Best in Business award<br />
from Society of American Business<br />
Editors and Writers in Indianapolis in<br />
March. Henry’s company received an<br />
honorable mention for its new model for<br />
paid digital content in the “10 That Do<br />
It Right” edition of Editor & Publisher.<br />

George Morgan married his<br />
childhood sweetheart, Martine, in 2005<br />
in Miami. George moved from Miami to<br />
live with her in Madrid, Spain, in late<br />
2007. After working in U.S. and<br />
European international, commercial,<br />
investment, and private banks for 35<br />
years, he now has his own international<br />
financial consulting business. George<br />
works with European renewable energy<br />
firms and is forming a management by<br />
objectives of a Spanish real estate firm<br />
with three partners, to be headquartered<br />
in Dubai, with operations in the Emirates,<br />
Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Spain, and<br />
United States. From his first marriage, he<br />
has five children and three grandchildren.<br />
From his second marriage, he is<br />
grandfather to two boys, ages 1 and 5.<br />
He has been an Alumni Admissions<br />
Representative for <strong>Lafayette</strong> since the<br />
1990s, first in London, then from Miami,<br />
and now in Madrid.<br />
James “Jim” Jackson wrote One<br />
Trick at a Time: How to Start Winning<br />
at Bridge for intermediate bridge<br />
players. The book was published by<br />
Master Point Press (see photo online).<br />
He retired as a consulting actuary in<br />

Guy Hembling has been married<br />
to Gail for 25 years; they have two<br />
children, Blaire, 24, and Trevor, 16.<br />
The Hemblings live in Rumson, N.J.<br />
Guy is president of C.B. Hembling &<br />
Son Construction, commercial and<br />
residential builders in business since<br />
1918. A professional artist, he is a<br />
member of and shows his work at<br />
Salmagundi Club in NYC. Guy enjoys<br />
trout fishing, sailing, shooting, skiing,<br />
and long-distance swimming.<br />
Larry Friedman has lived in Ann<br />
Arbor, Mich., since graduation. He<br />
retired from the city’s Community<br />
Development Department 10 years<br />
ago. Daughter Lauren graduated from<br />
Wellesley in 2009 and son Alex from<br />
Grand Valley State University this past<br />
spring. Last fall, Larry and Hank<br />
Darlington ’57 biked 1,624 miles from<br />
Portland, Maine, to Daytona Beach, Fla.,<br />
in three weeks (see photo online).<br />
Frank Julia has been plagued with<br />
minor medical problems this year: hip,<br />
shoulder, and a heel spur. He is back<br />
to normal and planned to spend spring<br />
and summer biking and kayaking.<br />

Larry Berglund lives in<br />
1973 Berwyn, Pa., with wife<br />
Carolyn (daughter of H. Palmer<br />
Woodcock ’50). In April, he celebrated<br />
his 25th year at Pennsylvania Trust<br />
Company in Radnor, for which he is<br />
an owner, senior vice president, and<br />
portfolio manager. He is president of<br />
the elder association of Zeta Psi, which<br />
is sponsoring the new <strong>Lafayette</strong> <strong>College</strong><br />
gate. Daughter Megan, 28, is a cardiac<br />
ICU nurse at Lankenau Hospital.<br />
