Kathryn M. Morrison
2001and David Flanders
became engaged over Memorial Day
weekend 2011 on Sanibel Island, Fla.
The couple planned to wed April 21
in St. Louis. David graduated from
Emory University School of Business
and University of Missouri–Kansas City
School of Law. He is an attorney for
HNTB Corp. in Kansas City. Kathryn is
a benefits coordinator for Breads of the
World LLC, a franchisee of Panera Bread.
Following the nuptials, the couple will
reside in Kansas City.
Kevin Angelis and Chantal St.
Laurent were married July 16, 2011,
in Kennebunkport, Maine. Jordan
Brugg ’03 was best man. The couple
resides in Stamford, Conn. Chantal
earned her bachelor’s and master’s
degrees from Lehigh University and
works as a physical education teacher in
Greenwich, Conn. Kevin is a managing
partner at BHMS Investments in NYC.

Ned and Melissa
2002 Fiorelli Allis bought
their first home in Harrisburg, Pa. Ned
is a depreciation analyst at Gannett
Fleming, and Melissa is an occupational
therapist at York Hospital.
Sarah Lowery was featured on
Lafayette’s website.
Andrew Saunders is concluding a
yearlong assignment as chief resident in
pediatrics at University of California–
San Francisco. In July 2012, he will
start a two-year assignment as UCSF’s
first pediatric global health hospitalist
fellow, during which he will receive
training in caring for hospitalized
children domestically and abroad. A
third of his time will be spent working
overseas. He likely will return to East
Africa, where he served during medical
school and residency.
Stacie Truesdell Michaels and her
husband welcomed daughter Jemma on
July 16, 2011 (see photo online).
Kenya Allen and Keisha McIntosh
were married Sept. 4 in Howey-in-the-
Hills, Fla. Bruce Edwards ’01 was a
groomsman, and the Rev. Landon J.
Adams performed an African libationpouring
as part of the ceremony. The
couple lives in the Baltimore area,
where Kenya works as a disability
program and budget analyst for Social
Security Administration.
Erin Wyble Newcomb, husband
Matt, and daughter Lucy Grace, 2½,
were expecting a baby girl this spring.
Erin, who teaches literature and
composition courses at SUNY–New
Paltz, published an academic article on
Eucharistic theology and Dracula and
has another forthcoming on
Catholicism and biotechnology. Erin
also writes for Christ and Pop Culture
(www.christandpopculture.com).
Mike Baldoni earned his MBA from
Cornell in May 2011. He works at
Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Ryan Patrick Thornton is “bashing
away at the drums” with a variety of
NYC musicians, including his current
band, Sean Bones. He also teaches first
grade at Brooklyn Friends School.

In December, Jim and Cristen Place
Charnley and their 2½-year-old
daughter, Caitlyn, shopped for the
holiday at Lafayette’s College Store (see
photo online). Jim is senior vice president
of Caruso Benefits Group, a Lehigh
Valley employee benefits consulting firm.
He was appointed vice president of
American Cancer Society Lehigh Valley
Volunteer Leadership Committee board
and named to the board of directors of
Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce.
Cristen teaches math at Easton Area
High School, across the hall from
Heather Morgan Gaumer ’01.
The Rev. Tim Dooner was named
pastor of Faith Presbyterian Church in
Emmaus, Pa. In 2008, Tim graduated
from Princeton Theological Seminary
with a master’s in divinity and was
ordained a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)
minister of word and sacrament. He and
wife Blair have a daughter, Maggie.

Liza Lesser and Michael
Schwager were married
Feb. 25 in Miami. Attendees included
Carrie Chaitt, Robin Yudkovitz, Alex
Pelberg Slawter ’02, and bridesmaid
Lauren Mack-Teti. Kate McGovern
Ferriola, also a bridesmaid, was unable
to attend the wedding because she gave
birth to her first child, Jackson Frank,
on Feb. 13. Kate and husband Matt
live in McKinney, Texas.
Jessie Porro Long, husband Bill,
and daughter Audrey, 3, welcomed
a baby boy, William, on Nov. 8.
Cory Delafield Townend and
husband Stark welcomed son George
on Feb. 8.
Erin Reynolds Kelsh and husband
Dan welcomed their first child, Jack
McDermott, on Dec. 1.
Morgan Albus Mooney wrote: “In
addition to having a 3-year-old, Jack,
I just had a little girl, Grace, this past
June. With having another child, as
hard as it was, it was time to move from
the city. We left Manhattan, where we
lived on the Upper West Side, and
moved to Rye, N.Y.”
Dan Fitzgerald was named a
“Rising Star in Estate Planning” by
New England Super Lawyers and a
“Top Young Attorney in Connecticut”
by Connecticut Magazine.
Joe Hamill got engaged to Ivy
Grimm. Joe wrote: “Ivy and I met
through Erin North Dean. I was
headed to Maryland for work, and
knew Erin had a good friend in
Baltimore. I needed someone to go
with me to the Yankees–Orioles game,
so I asked Erin to ask her friend.” The
couple was expected to marry in June
in Andover, N.J.
Corinne Loveland returned to New
Jersey after six years in California. She
married Scott Cervini on Nov. 26.
Corinne’s bridesmaids included Erin
North Dean, Hiranya Parakrama
Patterson, and Kristin Pontoski
Taylor. Corinne is a senior instructional
designer for Tricore Interactive in
Princeton, N.J.
Jennifer Langoski Tastad
accepted a position as senior project
manager with CPH Engineers in
Lanham, Md., in May. “I work
primarily on Safeway grocery store
projects in the Washington, D.C.,
metro area. I am engineer of record for
one of the stores I am redeveloping and
also involved with peer review of other
