Kathryn M. Morrison<br />
2001and David Flanders<br />
became engaged over Memorial Day<br />
weekend 2011 on Sanibel Island, Fla.<br />
The couple planned to wed April 21<br />
in St. Louis. David graduated from<br />
Emory University School of Business<br />
and University of Missouri–Kansas City<br />
School of Law. He is an attorney for<br />
HNTB Corp. in Kansas City. Kathryn is<br />
a benefits coordinator for Breads of the<br />
World LLC, a franchisee of Panera Bread.<br />
Following the nuptials, the couple will<br />
reside in Kansas City.<br />
Kevin Angelis and Chantal St.<br />
Laurent were married July 16, 2011,<br />
in Kennebunkport, Maine. Jordan<br />
Brugg ’03 was best man. The couple<br />
resides in Stamford, Conn. Chantal<br />
earned her bachelor’s and master’s<br />
degrees from Lehigh University and<br />
works as a physical education teacher in<br />
Greenwich, Conn. Kevin is a managing<br />
partner at BHMS Investments in NYC.<br />

Ned and Melissa<br />
2002 Fiorelli Allis bought<br />
their first home in Harrisburg, Pa. Ned<br />
is a depreciation analyst at Gannett<br />
Fleming, and Melissa is an occupational<br />
therapist at York Hospital.<br />
Sarah Lowery was featured on<br />
<strong>Lafayette</strong>’s website.<br />
Andrew Saunders is concluding a<br />
yearlong assignment as chief resident in<br />
pediatrics at University of California–<br />
San Francisco. In July 2012, he will<br />
start a two-year assignment as UCSF’s<br />
first pediatric global health hospitalist<br />
fellow, during which he will receive<br />
training in caring for hospitalized<br />
children domestically and abroad. A<br />
third of his time will be spent working<br />
overseas. He likely will return to East<br />
Africa, where he served during medical<br />
school and residency.<br />
Stacie Truesdell Michaels and her<br />
husband welcomed daughter Jemma on<br />
July 16, 2011 (see photo online).<br />
Kenya Allen and Keisha McIntosh<br />
were married Sept. 4 in Howey-in-the-<br />
Hills, Fla. Bruce Edwards ’01 was a<br />
groomsman, and the Rev. Landon J.<br />
Adams performed an African libationpouring<br />
as part of the ceremony. The<br />
couple lives in the Baltimore area,<br />
where Kenya works as a disability<br />
program and budget analyst for Social<br />
Security Administration.<br />
Erin Wyble Newcomb, husband<br />
Matt, and daughter Lucy Grace, 2½,<br />
were expecting a baby girl this spring.<br />
Erin, who teaches literature and<br />
composition courses at SUNY–New<br />
Paltz, published an academic article on<br />
Eucharistic theology and Dracula and<br />
has another forthcoming on<br />
Catholicism and biotechnology. Erin<br />
also writes for Christ and Pop Culture<br />
(www.christandpopculture.com).<br />
Mike Baldoni earned his MBA from<br />
Cornell in May 2011. He works at<br />
Bank of America Merrill Lynch.<br />
Ryan Patrick Thornton is “bashing<br />
away at the drums” with a variety of<br />
NYC musicians, including his current<br />
band, Sean Bones. He also teaches first<br />
grade at Brooklyn Friends School.<br />

In December, Jim and Cristen Place<br />
Charnley and their 2½-year-old<br />
daughter, Caitlyn, shopped for the<br />
holiday at <strong>Lafayette</strong>’s <strong>College</strong> Store (see<br />
photo online). Jim is senior vice president<br />
of Caruso Benefits Group, a Lehigh<br />
Valley employee benefits consulting firm.<br />
He was appointed vice president of<br />
American Cancer Society Lehigh Valley<br />
Volunteer Leadership Committee board<br />
and named to the board of directors of<br />
Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce.<br />
Cristen teaches math at Easton Area<br />
High School, across the hall from<br />
Heather Morgan Gaumer ’01.<br />
The Rev. Tim Dooner was named<br />
pastor of Faith Presbyterian Church in<br />
Emmaus, Pa. In 2008, Tim graduated<br />
from Princeton Theological Seminary<br />
with a master’s in divinity and was<br />
ordained a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)<br />
minister of word and sacrament. He and<br />
wife Blair have a daughter, Maggie.<br />

Schwager were married<br />
Feb. 25 in Miami. Attendees included<br />
Carrie Chaitt, Robin Yudkovitz, Alex<br />
Pelberg Slawter ’02, and bridesmaid<br />
Lauren Mack-Teti. Kate McGovern<br />
Ferriola, also a bridesmaid, was unable<br />
to attend the wedding because she gave<br />
birth to her first child, Jackson Frank,<br />
on Feb. 13. Kate and husband Matt<br />
live in McKinney, Texas.<br />
Jessie Porro Long, husband Bill,<br />
and daughter Audrey, 3, welcomed<br />
a baby boy, William, on Nov. 8.<br />

Morgan Albus Mooney wrote: “In<br />
addition to having a 3-year-old, Jack,<br />
I just had a little girl, Grace, this past<br />
June. With having another child, as<br />
hard as it was, it was time to move from<br />
the city. We left Manhattan, where we<br />
lived on the Upper West Side, and<br />
moved to Rye, N.Y.”<br />
Dan Fitzgerald was named a<br />
“Rising Star in Estate Planning” by<br />
New England Super Lawyers and a<br />
“Top Young Attorney in Connecticut”<br />
by Connecticut <strong>Magazine</strong>.<br />
Joe Hamill got engaged to Ivy<br />
Grimm. Joe wrote: “Ivy and I met<br />
through Erin North Dean. I was<br />
headed to Maryland for work, and<br />
knew Erin had a good friend in<br />
Baltimore. I needed someone to go<br />
with me to the Yankees–Orioles game,<br />
so I asked Erin to ask her friend.” The<br />
couple was expected to marry in June<br />
in Andover, N.J.<br />
Corinne Loveland returned to New<br />
Jersey after six years in California. She<br />
married Scott Cervini on Nov. 26.<br />
Corinne’s bridesmaids included Erin<br />
North Dean, Hiranya Parakrama<br />
Patterson, and Kristin Pontoski<br />
Taylor. Corinne is a senior instructional<br />
designer for Tricore Interactive in<br />
Princeton, N.J.<br />
Jennifer Langoski Tastad<br />
accepted a position as senior project<br />
manager with CPH Engineers in<br />
Lanham, Md., in May. “I work<br />
primarily on Safeway grocery store<br />
projects in the Washington, D.C.,<br />
metro area. I am engineer of record for<br />
one of the stores I am redeveloping and<br />
also involved with peer review of other<br />
