Pisetzner is working on a documentary
project for Discovery Channel. Amanda
lives in Manhattan.
Millie Barry accepted a position
as scholarship associate of New Jersey
Foster Care Scholars Program with
Foster and Adoptive Family Services in
Monmouth Junction, N.J. On Jan. 10,
she welcomed niece Della Grace.
Steve Serling was selected by the
Denver Outlaws in the fifth round
of the 2012 Major League Lacrosse
Collegiate Draft. He is pursuing a
master’s in finance at Hofstra University.
Steve was named to the watch list for
the 2012 Tewaaraton Award, which
is sponsored by University Club of
Washington, D.C.
Jackie Bruscella planned to
graduate in May with her master’s in
speech communication, performance,
and rhetorical studies from Hofstra
University. In August, she will begin
a Ph.D. program in intercultural and
interpersonal communication at
University of Oklahoma.
Chris LaTempa, assistant director
of admissions at Lafayette, reported the
College had an unprecedented 17%
growth in applications and the largest
applicant pool (more than 6,650) in
school history. He was proud of a 37%
increase in applications in his first full
year covering Long Island, N.Y.
Working with Matt Hyde, director
of admissions, Chris leads the Alumni
Admissions Representatives program.

Clara Fisher lives in Washington,
D.C., and works at World Wildlife
Fund. Promoted to donor
communications coordinator,
she is responsible for stewardship
of mid-level donors and coordination
of reports, mailings, and programs.
Clara also plays viola with a community
orchestra recently featured on NPR’s
Talk of the Nation.
Jessalyn Rolwood and Phil Nelson
were engaged in December 2011,
with a wedding planned for September.
They plan to live in Boston, as Jessalyn
continues graduate studies in
structural engineering at Tufts
University and Phil works as
a mechanical engineer.
Wystan Carswell received an
Integrative Graduate Education and
Research Traineeship Fellowship to
work on offshore wind turbines with
a cohort of interdisciplinary doctoral
students at University of Massachusetts
Wind Energy Center.
Alan Raisman has accepted a parttime
position as Easton area outreach
and engagement associate for Jewish
Federation of the Lehigh Valley. He
also is full-time development and
marketing coordinator for Lehigh
Valley Zoo.
Lindsay Davis announced the
Nov. 11 birth of Aubrey Leigh Davis.

Gregory Buchan presented
2011 research—which was guided
by Jenn Rossman, assistant professor
of mechanical engineering—at the
American Society of Mechanical
Engineers conference in November.
Greg is a quality engineer at Triumph
Aerostructures–Vought Aircraft
Division in Nashville.
As an employment specialist with
Kuhn Employment Opportunities
in Middletown, Conn., Stephanie
Galer helps individuals with
psychiatric disabilities obtain
and maintain employment.
Ashley Juavinett is enrolled in
the neurosciences doctoral program
at University of California–San Diego.
Still performing near Philadelphia
and San Diego, she released her new
album, Skies Apart.
Peter McGrath is a graduate fellow
at Brown University, where he pursues
a Ph.D. in mathematics.
Sean Murphy is pursuing his
master’s degree in subsurface
geoscience at Rice University (see
photo online). In the program, he
will work as a junior geologist with
Southwestern Energy through the
second half of 2012. Active in Ultimate
Frisbee, Sean is a mentor and player on
the university’s Cloud 9 team. He also
planned to join Houston’s club team,
Space City, in April.
Marc Tancer is “living in paradise”
in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and working
with precious metals at Gary Tancer
Rare Coin.
