Admissions policy
St George’s Catholic School is a Roman Catholic
Voluntary Aided mixed all-ability school in the
trusteeship of the Archdiocese of Westminster. It is
maintained by Westminster Council.
Priority for admission will be given
to applicants in the following order.
1 Looked After Children from Catholic families.
2 Baptised Catholics with the support of a
priest’s reference.
3 Other baptised Catholics (priority in categories
2 & 3 will be given to children who have a brother
or sister already in the school).
4 Other Looked After Children.
5 Other children who have a brother or sister at
the school.
6 Christians of other denominations whose
parents support the Catholic ethos of the School
and whose application is supported by their
religious leader.
7 Children of other faiths whose parents support
the Catholic ethos of the School and whose
application is supported by their religious leader.
8 Any other children whose family wish them to have
a Catholic education.
St George’s School has 120 places available for
Year 7 students.
If, due to over subscription, it is necessary to decide
between children who have equal claim to a place,
priority will be given to those living nearest to the
school, measured by the shortest walking route.
