Adjusting the spring<br />

- Remove the seat, right and left side number plates.<br />
- Loosen the air cleaner duct clamp screw.<br />
- Remove the silencer.<br />
- Remove the rear subframe with the air cleaner box.<br />

Suspension spring<br />
The standard spring is a 4.0.<br />
The standard spring preload length is 258 mm.<br />

- Tighten the locknut (ring) securely.<br />
- After adjustment, move the spring up and down to make sure that<br />
the spring is seated.<br />
- Install the parts removed.<br />
Rear Shock Absorber Spring Replacement<br />
In addigtion to the standard spring, harder and softer springs are<br />
available. If the standard spring is improper for your purpose, select<br />
a proper one according to the rider´s weight or course conditions.<br />
. Using the harder spring:The spring rate is higher.<br />
. Using the softer spring:The spring rate is lower.<br />
