Reveal the power of enzyme kinetics through a real-world
application to biofuels. Through guided inquiry activities,
determine how temperature, pH, and the concentration of
substrate and enzyme will affect an enzymatic reaction as well
as the rate of reaction for the enzyme cellobiase (a key enzyme
in the production of cellulosic ethanol, a biofuel). Can biofuels
