Strobewise: Deceleration Warning Device
Whitehorse Gear is proud to introduce Strobewise, the most advanced
motorcycle deceleration warning safety device on the market.
Did You Know Roughly 3 million rear-end collisions occur in the U.S.
each year, injuring more than 1.5 million people and costing $15 billion in
property damage. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has
determined that if following drivers had just 0.5 to 1.0 second of additional
warning time, 60% to 90% of these collisions could be avoided! (NTSB
Special Investigation Report SIR-01/01) Strobewise works to warn
motorists behind you that you are slowing down, even if you are not using
the brakes!
Strobewise uses a small but sophisticated microprocessor to monitor
your acceleration 1,000 times per second. If you are slowing down at all,
Strobewise illuminates its rear-facing high-powered amber LED lamp with
flash patterns that are appropriate for your rate of deceleration. For example
if you are lazily rolling off the throttle using light engine braking,
Strobewise will provide a few gentle flashes. If you are braking moderately,
the lamp warns other road users to your rear more firmly. Should you be in
a full-on quick stop, Strobewise will respond with a machine gun stacatto
of flashes.
Because Strobewise is a brand new type of product, we very thoroughly
tested it ourselves for over one year and 6,000 miles on all sorts of paved
and unpaved roads. Now that we’ve lived with Strobewise for a good while,
we wouldn’t ever want to be without it! It actually keeps other motorists off
your butt. We’re still amazed at how much more room we typically have
between our bikes and the cars behind us. It just works! This is the most
remarkable product we’ve tested in years.
It is important to note that Strobewise is not a brake light modulator of
any kind. It does not utilize the brake light circuit and you do not need to be

These Plug-n-Play HID headlight conversion kits will throw out three times
the light of a traditional halogen bulb, and yet they draw fewer amps when
operating. The kit contains a fused wiring harness, Xenon bulb, super slim
ballast, and relay. The 6000K bulbs produces a very white light, the 8000K
versions produces a light with a cobalt blue tint.

These HID Xenon bulbs are only for use with bikes equipped with
BikeMaster HID conversion kits. Choose the 6000K version for the
whitest light, or choose the 8000k version to get that traditional “HID”
blue-tinted light.

utilizes the speedometer signal generator so it is getting instantaneous information
on your rate of deceleration, if any. Strobewise is safe to use with all
bikes having an electronic speedometer signal generator. This includes
CANBUS BMW motorcycles. It will not work on any motorcycles with
mechanical, cable-driven speedometers.
Strobewise is not a plug and play device, like changing a light bulb. For
a qualified motorcycle technician, professional or backyard, it is a simple
installation job. The small processor box is usually mounted in a safe location
such as under a seat or side panel. It requires a switched power and a
ground connection as well as connection to the speed signal generator wire.
Just 3 wires. And finally the super high quality anodized aluminum lamp
assembly needs to be mounted to the rear of the bike. Especially for bikes
with some kind of rear rack or backrest this is usually easily done with two
small machine screws. Once installed Strobewise is on duty, watching your
“6” at all times. We wouldn’t want it any other way!
