Accessories for the Suzuki V-Strom<br />

SW-MOTECH V-Strom Center Stand<br />

SW-Motech’s center stands for the Suzuki V-Stroms are<br />

the must-have accessory for sport and adventure <strong>to</strong>uring!<br />

They greatly ease basic maintenance, tire changes, parking,<br />

and bike cleaning. Super-strong steel construction<br />

features typical German design and high engineering<br />

standards. Superb integration with the fac<strong>to</strong>ry exhaust and<br />

sidestand components. These do not sacrifice lean angle<br />

or clearances.<br />

All hardware needed <strong>to</strong> mount the centerstand included.<br />

Typically installs using basic hand <strong>to</strong>ols. No welding,<br />

cutting, or drilling required. Tough black powdercoated<br />

finish with some gray fittings or hardware as applicable.<br />

A double-retention spring is included as a safety feature <strong>to</strong> prevent the centerstand from contacting<br />

pavement if one of the two springs should fail during a ride. Designed <strong>to</strong> work with OEM components.<br />

We cannot assure fit with aftermarket exhausts or other accessories. Choose either the DL650<br />

Constructed of thick aluminum for heavy-duty, lightweight<br />

protection. Plate includes side protec<strong>to</strong>rs that wrap<br />

around the engine block <strong>to</strong> provide both bot<strong>to</strong>m and side<br />

protection. The skidplate has a solid bot<strong>to</strong>m without<br />

cu<strong>to</strong>uts. Only two screws need <strong>to</strong> be removed from the<br />

plate <strong>to</strong> allow access behind the skidplate <strong>to</strong> change the oil<br />

and filter.<br />

Installation of the skidplate requires previous installation<br />

of the SW-MOTECH crashbars, sold separately.<br />

The DL1000 skidplate is available in bare aluminum<br />

(shown) or powdercoated black. The DL650 skidplate is<br />

Auxiliary Light Mounting Bar<br />

Laser-cut from mild steel and black powdercoated, this<br />

light bar is both strong and attractive. Designed specifically<br />

for PIAA lights, the light bar will accommodate a<br />

pair of PIAA 005, 600 H.I.D., 540, 520, 510, 910, 1100X,<br />

or Cross Country H.I.D. lights. Other brands of lights<br />

can also be installed on the light bar, provided that each<br />

light has a single mounting bolt no larger than 10mm<br />

(3/8-inch) in diameter. Easy <strong>to</strong> install—nothing needs<br />

where many UK riders use these lamps, typically<br />

wiring them directly <strong>to</strong> the battery.<br />

What’s really cool about the controller box in<br />

this kit, is you can wire the box directly <strong>to</strong> y<strong>our</strong><br />

battery or fuse block without a switch. When you<br />

start y<strong>our</strong> bike, the controller senses the temporary<br />

voltage drop at the battery and switches the<br />

lights <strong>to</strong> “on.” After you shut off y<strong>our</strong> bike, the<br />

controller knows this <strong>to</strong>o and shuts down y<strong>our</strong><br />

Cree lights about 20 seconds after the ignition is<br />
