Heaterz Heated Grips
by Oxford Essential Cycle Products
Heaterz touring grips from Oxford Essential Cycle
Products (England) are the favorite heated grips of
riders around the world. They work great and are
priced right. Heaterz will fit 7/8-inch diameter handlebars
with 4.75-inch to 4.9-inch long open-ended
original grips (the most common grip size for sportbikes,
dual sports, and scooters). Heaterz are 4.9
inches or 125mm long.
The maximum power consumption is 48 watts per
pair (4.0 amps at 12 volts DC). Grips heat up to 131
degrees Fahrenheit (55 degrees Celsius). You WILL
need to wear gloves while riding with Heaterz
switched on. Includes waterproof electronic controller with
following features:
◆ 5 power settings (100%, 75%, 40%, 30%, off)
◆ LED indicates current power setting
◆ Automatically turns grips off when bike is turned off (when battery
voltage
◆ drops below 11.5 volts), preventing accidental battery drainage - no

No special wiring tools are required for installation—simply plug the grips
and controller into the included wiring harness, attach two wires to your
battery terminals, and the wiring is finished! Includes a tube of high-temperature
epoxy for installing grips. These heated grips have bored-out ends
and are designed for easy installation on bikes with bar-end weights or
throttle locks. If your bike does not currently have bar ends, you can still
install these grips, but your bar ends will remain open.
