Top Gun Replacement Shift Levers for KLR650
A sturdier
version of the
stock shifter,
the Top Gun
Standard lever
is a handsome
addition to
your trusted
steed and will
make your bike
faster and you
look even better
to your significant
other.
Well, it is sturdy
A B C
Shown above: stock Kawasaki KLR650 shift lever (A),
Top Gun Standard shift lever (B), and Top Gun Big Foot shift lever (C).
MADE
IN THE
USA
anyway; this shifter won’t break as easily as the stock shifter. The tip pivots, is spring loaded, and gives
your foot a bit more space.
The “Bigfoot” model is as sturdy as the Standard, but is almost 1 inch longer then the stock shifter,
a bonus for us folks blessed with generously sized feet or those with big herky boots. Note: The
increased length of the Bigfoot lever puts the shifter in front of engine case beyond built-in shifter
detent. This product fits all models.
KLRSL specify Standard or Big Foot $32.00
KLR650 MEFO Tires
Every dual sport motorcycle deserves tires that work
well both on and off the pavement. German made
MEFO tires are highly regarded by riders around the
world for excellent performance and a long service life.
We think high performance and high mileage at a
moderate price point pegs the value meter every time!
The question for you, dear rider, is “Do you want that
in traditional dual-sport flavor or with extra knobbies”
A true 50/50 tire is a wonderful thing and we’ve got
what we think are the best of the bunch, the Sport
Explorer MFE99 tires. Long lasting, stable both onand
off-road, the Sport Explorer tires (shown) put the
“sport” in dual-sport! On the other hand, if you spend
your street riding time getting to the trails, or your off-road Sport Exporer
riding is way off-road, you may want the MX Master front
and Stone Master rear. These are some of the narliest, knobbiest,
DOT-approved tires available. The big open lug design will shed the
muck, while the stiff carcass gives you confidence while slabbing it.
Available in standard KLR650 sizes (all years), 130/80-17 rear and 90/90-21 front.
Please specify whether you want a front or rear tire. Must ship by UPS ground only.
KLR650 Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Both versions of the KLR can benefit by upgrading the stock
rubber brake lines with our braided stainless steel lines. These
lines transfer more pressure to your calipers, and feature genuine
Teflon linings. In addition, the factory routing of the rear (E
model) brake line makes a large loop. Seems to us this is bound
to snag on something sooner or later. Not good! Our rear brake
line runs directly to the rear caliper, eliminating the dreaded
“loop line” factor. All lines include new crush washers and banjo
bolts. Front and rear lines sold separately. Choose the right line(s) for your bike.
KSSBL Front Brake Line, A-model $75.00 KSSBL Front Brake Line, E-model $75.00
KSSBL Rear Brake Line, A-model $54.95 KSSBL Rear Brake Line, E-model $54.95
the very highest quality and are priced competitively. Choose from
clutch, throttle pull, throttle push, and speedometer drive cables. It is a
good idea to tape replacement cables alongside your in-use cables. When
the old cable fails, just connect the ends of the new cable and be on your way!
E-model riders! You
