Handlebar risers provide a
more upright, comfortable
riding position by raising
the original 7/8-inch
(22mm) diameter tubular
handlebar. No need to
replace your handlebars—
simply remove the original
top clamp, place the
riser between the handlebar
and original bottom
clamp, and reinstall top
clamp. Metric M8 bolts
are included. Rise height is 25mm (1"). For use with original top clamp or
included matching SW-Motech top clamp. No change of control cables,
wiring, or hoses is required for most motorcycle models. These high-quality,
German-made risers fit many different makes and models of motorcycles

medium-duty, light-weight
protection. Baseplate includes
side protectors that wrap
around the engine block to
provide both bottom and side
protection. Now available in
powdercoated black and bare
aluminum.
All hardware needed to
mount the skidplate is included.
Typically installs using
basic hand tools. No welding, cutting, or drilling of existing frame or body
parts required. Designed to work with OEM components—we cannot
assure fit with aftermarket exhausts or other accessories.
The skidplate’s front mounting point is hinged so that the skidplate
can be pivoted out of the way after releasing the two rear skidplate mount
bolts. This makes maintenance and cleaning much faster than with
non-hinged skidplates.

Fits with OEM plastic belly pan,
TwistedThrottle’S aluminum skidplate,
or our American-made skid
plate on page 51 (sold separately).
Includes two metric M8x70 replacement bolts to upgrade your original subframe
bolt strength (located between the rear end of the tank and the front
end of the seat) from grade 8.8 to grade 12.9—stronger is better for sure!
All components are protected against corrosion by sandblasting and
powdercoating. High-strength frame mounting points. Tube diameter is
26.9mm. Choose the crashbars for the A-model KLR (up to 2007) or the
E-model KLR (2008 and up). Black.

gray fittings or hardware as applicable. Double-retention springs are included
as a safety feature to prevent centerstands from contacting pavement if
one of the two springs should fail during a ride. Total weight about 7 lbs.
