Nature Conservation Ordinance (1974) WCNCB Provides for the establishment of provincial, local and private nature reserves and the protection of indigenous species of
flora and fauna. Protected and endangered species of flora and fauna are listed in schedules to the ordinance. It is
administered by the Western Cape Nature Conservation Board (WCNCB) and grants certain powers to the WCNCB.
