41 Madinat Zayed and Ruwais Colleges MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR Dear Students, Congratulations on your decision to join the HCT Madinat Zayed Colleges and Ruwais Colleges in order to pursue your higher education. It is my pleasure to welcome you all to the Higher Colleges of Technology and I look forward to working, learning and collaborating with you in the growth of the newest colleges in the HCT system. As you know, you are entering a truly world-class college system that is well-known in the Middle East and around the world for its innovative spirit, its vibrant learning environment, and its state-of-the-art technological resources. We are grateful to the wise leadership of the UAE government and the inspiration of our Chancellor, His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, for ensuring that the HCT through our college is at the forefront of development in Al Gharbia, and we promise to reward their faith in us by creating the most enviable college in the country. In order to do this, we need not just the dedication and commitment of our highly-qualified faculty and staff, but we also need your student commitment to learning and growth. You are all in the unique position of driving our college forward and helping us build our links to the community. 42 H I G H E R C O L L E G E S O F T E C H N O L O G Y SECTION ONE COLLEGE INFORMATION College Hours College offices are open from 8:00am - 5:00pm, Sunday through Thursday. Most classes are scheduled from 8:45am untill 3:30pm and from 4:00pm - 9:30pm for male students in Ruwais, and in Madinat Zayed from September. Students may be allowed in college facilities during non-working hours provided they have permission from management. The college main number is 02 8943-700 for Madinat Zayed Colleges, and 02-8943-800 for Ruwais Colleges. 2.
