Other Services Available on Campus
Cafeteria
There are separate canteens for our male and female students in Madinat Zayed
College and an open canteen in Ruwais College. These are equipped with all the
latest equipment and best facilities. Every effort is made to ensure that the meals
provided are nutritious, satisfying and affordable. The canteens are cashless;
students pay with a system in which money is added to their ID cards which act
as a debit card.
Spinney’s Catering Division are the appointed provider at both Colleges’ and are
open to suggestions for improvements or special requests, if given adequate
notice.
Prayer Rooms
Prayer rooms are available on all campuses for men and women.
Campus Access and Parking
Parking
Parking is available inside each campus. Students bringing their cars must show
their Driving Licenses and ID cards at the time of entry in order to enable the
security guard to identify and allow access to the campus otherwise access will
be denied. Forced entry is subject to disciplinary action.
Driving on Campus
The security guards check traffic to make sure that only people who are allowed
on campus enter and leave the college. Your driver must follow the instructions
of the security guards. Drivers should drop students and pick up only where it is
allowed. Drivers must drive safely and carefully. One must remember that the
guards act for the security of students and the college.
Security
The Colleges’ have 24 hour security at each campus. You must respect the
security guards, they work for the Director. They have the right to stop you from
leaving the Colleges during class hours, and to ask you to leave after class hours
if you do not have permission.
Lost items will be taken by cleaners, security or other staff to the reception area.

Visitors to College
HCT students interact with the faculty and staff of the college on a daily basis but
may also interact with a number of guests, vendors and other college visitors.
