Senior Girls
Tennis
On Monday the 29 th April,
Georgiana Ruhrig, Monika Rajicic,
Naomi Singhebhye and Simona
ventured to Geelong to compete in
the Senior girls Western metro
region for tennis. They were up
against some tough components
facing Maribyrnong College and
Essendon Keilor . Overall, the girls
played some great tennis and came
second in their pool. Unfortunately
they did not go through to the next
round but still it was an excellent
effort. A big thanks to the girls, they
were outstanding competitors and a
special mention to Simona for filling
in last minute!

Woolworths
Earn & Learn
The Woolworths Earn & Learn
program is back on now, and
we are participating in the program
once again.
When you shop at Woolworths,
ask them for your stickers
when you spend over $10.
Bring them in to the school and
put them in the green box in
the office. If you put your
name with them, you could win
movie tickets.
Last year we collected 10,000
stickers, let’ s see if we can
beat it this year. This is what
we purchased with our stickers
last year.
Senior Boys Soccer
On Monday the 22 nd April our senior
boys soccer team travelled to Kelior
park for the senior boys outdoor
competition.
Copperfield College senior boys
played exceptionally well and dominated
both games. They drew their
first game with KDC 0-0 and lost the
second to VU0-1 with and unlucky
goal. The scores are not a true indication
of our skilled soccer players as
they had possession of the ball 70-
80% of the time in both games.
Good effort and well done team.

Battery World &
Mobile Muster
Battery World offers the only
national
opportunity to
recycle responsibly
by disposing dead
domestic batteries
at our College. The
batteries that we
are recycling are:
A, AA, AAA, C, D,
9V and 4V
batteries, laptop
batteries and
camera batteries.
There will be a collection container at
the Administration Office near our
Mobile Muster box.
Student Accident
Insurance
Parents / Carers are reminded
that the Department does not
provide personal accident
insurance for students. Parents
and guardians are responsible for
paying the cost of medical
treatment for injured students,
including any transport costs.
Reasonably low cost accident
insurance policies are available
from commercial insurers .
