MONTEFIORE MEDICAL GROUP (MMG)
Montefiore Medical Group offers a full range of comprehensive primary care services to adults
and pediatrics including OB/GYN, family planning, preventive health care, nutrition and health
education. Employing approximately 1,000 physicians, physician extenders, nurses, medical
technicians, support staff and administrators in 21 sites throughout the Bronx and Southern
Westchester, MMG is committed to improving the health and well-being of the communities
served. Members of the MMG team work in partnership with patients and their families, sharing
in the responsibility and accountability for the maintenance and improvement of their health. In
addition to the core primary care services, MMG offers supplemental targeted programs
including:
• HIV outreach, screening, counseling
• Care for the Homeless Team
• School Health
• Women, Infant, Children (WIC) Program
What makes MMG unique is its relationship to the Medical Center. Through its 21
neighborhood offices, MMG gives patients access to primary, obstetric and gynecological care
and provides referrals to the Medical Center's specialty services. Information regarding MMG
