A total of 34.2 million individuals were reached 7 across the region by the in-home coverage<br />
of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Germany 2011 TM .<br />
In Brazil, audience reach totalled 22.4 million individuals 7 ; inside the top five reach figures<br />
from any territory 7 . This accounts for almost two thirds (65.4% 7 ) of the total reach in the<br />
region 7 .<br />
Colombia produced a projected reach of 10.3 million 7 , which accounts for a further 30% of<br />
the reach across South America 7 . Together with Brazil, these two territories generated 95.6%<br />
of the regional reach 7 .<br />
By far the highest audiences in the region were generated by Bandeirantes 13 in Brazil. On<br />
average, each programme achieved an average audience of nearly 2.2 million individuals,<br />
which included a peak average audience of 6.1 million for the live coverage of the Brazil v<br />
USA Quarter-final.<br />
In addition, Caracol 16 and RCNTV 16 in Colombia both recorded peak average audiences in<br />
excess of 1.3 million, with Caracol 16 achieving a peak average audience of nearly 1.9 million<br />
for their Korea DPR v Colombia match.<br />
