GENERAL INFORMATION
REGISTRATION
Attendee registration will be held in the atrium on
level 1 on the north side (Fourth Street) of the convention
center. Attendee registration will be open as
indicated on the schedule below.
Onsite Registration Hours
Monday, Feb.7 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Feb. 8 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 9 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 10 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 11 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
REGISTRATION/NAME BADGE POLICIES
TCEA name badges must be worn by attendees
during all convention events. Attendee badges will
have a barcode strip which contains information
collected from their registration forms. Exhibitors
may ask your permission to scan the badge
in order to capture this information. If you do not
wish to share the information with them, you may
decline their request, mark through your barcode
so that it is not readable, or cover the barcode with
something else. Badges are non-transferable and
non-refundable.
FOOD AND REFRESHMENTS
Food and beverage kiosks will be located throughout
the convention center on levels 1 and 4 for your
convenience. During exhibit hours on Wednesday,
Thursday, and Friday, a concession area will be set
up at the back of the exhibit hall.
You may pick up a complete list of local eateries at
the information desk located at registration. There
are more than 100 restaurants in the downtown
vicinity. This list is also available in the TCEA mobile
app with interactive maps.
ROOM CAPACITY
Standing or sitting in aisles of session rooms is not
permitted. All rooms are set to the maximum attendance
allowed by the fire marshal. All participants
will be asked to leave the session room at the end
of the session.
CPE FORMS
Most workshops and presentations are eligible for
CPE credit hours. Credit hours and session numbers
are listed with the session descriptions in this
program. It is your responsibility to track your CPE
hours. A form for tracking is included on page 179.
SMOKING
The Austin Convention Center is a smoke-free
facility.
COAT LUGGAGE CHECK
A coat and luggage check will be operational
Monday, Feb. 7 through Friday, Feb. 11, and will be
located across from the exhibit hall entrance at the
Exhibit Hall 2 doors.
EMAIL STATIONS
Email stations will be provided to help you stay in
touch while at the convention. Stations will be located
on level 1 near the registration area, level 4 near
Room 15, and in the lounge in the exhibit hall. Please
refer to the maps on pages 175-178 for locations.
RECHARGE ZONE
TCEA will provide three areas throughout the
convention center equipped with tables, chairs,
and electricity for recharging laptops and mobile
devices. Recharge Zones are located on level 1 at
the Bloggers Café, at the iPlayground, and on level
4 outside Room 15.

WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS
Austin Convention Center offers free wireless Internet
throughout the center for attendees who want
to bring their laptop computers and check email
during breaks. There will also be email stations set
up on levels 1 and 4 of the convention center and in
the exhibit hall. Please refer to the maps on pages
175-178 for locations.
THE LOWDOWN
INFORMATION HELP DESK
This desk will be set up in the registration area on
level 1 to assist TCEA attendees with directions to
sessions and events, as well as to provide information
about Austin.
