Networking events provide the opportunity for you to meet peers in informal atmospheres<br />

to begin building relationships that enhance your personal learning network.<br />

<strong>TCEA</strong>’s annual convention is the meeting place of technology directors, campus technology<br />

specialists, and all other educators who love technology and want to learn more about it.<br />

Boogie down at the disco-themed event with live music<br />

from Sign Sealed and Delivered, great fun, and fabulous<br />

door prizes. Our after dinner social is a must-attend event<br />

at the convention and is free for all full-convention<br />

registered attendees.<br />

This event supports the next generation of educational technology professionals and the students they<br />

reach during a unique networking opportunity. The evening features fine food, great music by local Austin<br />

musicians Mother Falcon, and stellar company. All proceeds go towards the <strong>TCEA</strong> annual scholarships,<br />

which provide an opportunity for teachers and students who are interested in expanding their knowledge<br />

of educational technology.<br />

Advance registration required. Tickets are $65 and include<br />

dinner. Check availability and register onsite at the<br />

registration counter.<br />

<strong>TCEA</strong> scholarships and grants are awarded every year to<br />

deserving teachers and students who desire to further their<br />

technology education. They encourage and enhance the<br />

learning of technology skills for practicing and pre-service<br />

educators.<br />
