capabilities of Merlot. I’d be proud to serve this wine blind against any straight
Merlot from anywhere in the world, including Pomerol.

The 2008 Chardonnay Logan (a selection from the Sleepy Hollow
Vineyard) is a slightly fruitier, more structured style of Chardonnay
from Talbott. Light straw-colored, the wine displays notes of
nectarine, kiwi, orange marmalade, honey, and subtle oak.
Cutting a broad swath across the palate, it is full-bodied,
rich, and impressively endowed. It is the best Talbott
Chardonnay in a number of years.
