Events: Office Offender ( OP ) P reported today. He had paperwork from THCF Medical Clinics, which is the,
statement regarding medical mal'ijtiana. He said that he can't deal with his pain from losing'his leg. He was
addicted to opiates and all the doctor's want to do is give him pain medication. He's afraid to take it so he was
seeking alternatives. I explained to him that this was not a prescription and he cannot smoke marijuana for his
pain as it would be a probation violation. We discussed a marinol prescription and I advised him to talk to his
doctOl: about marinol. I also asked him ifhe talked to Kathy at ADDS about this. He· said that he hadn't because
he wanted to talk to me first. He said that he won't make the order from this "doctor". He said ·that his daughter
is better and he's been takfug care of.heJ.'. He's still seeing Kathy at ADDS regularly and making progress there.
'I'm afraid that this marijuana issue will set him back. UA was submitted, he reports no contact with law
enforcement. He made hisappt for next month.
