MEIXNER. Manfred Meixner (Mag.) was born<br />
in Güssing, Burgenland, Austria in 1964. Having<br />
originally studied German Literature and<br />
History, Manfred has been in the industry since<br />
1995. To be more precise he was responsible<br />
for an industry magazine, ‘austropack’, until<br />
2010. In the autumn of this year he joined up<br />
with Gernot Rath (Mag.) to launch the trade<br />
publication ‘Pack & Log’.<br />
He became notorious for well crafted editorials that never even<br />
touched on the issues of packaging or intralogistics. They did however<br />
betray his literary origins as a reader, a writer and an active<br />
Kafka researcher. In reality he is responsible for sales and customer<br />
care; a field in which he has collected immense knowledge over the<br />
decades.<br />
RATH. Gernot Rath (Mag.) was born in Vienna,<br />
Austria in 1968. He studied history and<br />
journalism and has been in the industry since<br />
2000. Together with Manfred Meixner (Mag.)<br />
he produced the trade publication ‘austropack’.<br />
In the autumn of 2010 they launched<br />
a new magazine, the ‘Pack & Log’. Gernot<br />
manages the everyday journalistic functions<br />
of this publication and if there’s an interesting<br />
story around, he’s there. He believes the only<br />
real way a reader can gain practical benefits is<br />
if proposed solutions stem from practical knowledge of the business.<br />
Success is dependent upon the loyalty of both readers and advertisers.<br />
This can only be achieved by guaranteeing quality, mutual cooperation<br />
and continuity.<br />
