• Create an establishment for Emergency Medical<br />
Technician and other cadre for GAS<br />
• Train 400 EMT to man new stations<br />
• Develop 50 ambulance stations that are linked by<br />
radio to ambulances and receiving hospitals<br />
• Procure and distribute 50 ambulances<br />
• Collaborate with GHS institutions and Teaching<br />
Hospitals to train emergency response teams in<br />
hospitals<br />
• Collaborate with Attorney-General’s Department to<br />
develop legal instruments<br />
• Mount IEC campaigns to mobilize public support<br />
and educate public on roles, responsibilities and<br />
rights<br />
• Establish a monitoring, evaluation and research<br />
programme for GAS<br />
