Why are you interested in teaching?
I have always wanted to teach because of my
wonderful 2 nd grade teacher, Miss Hilda. She was always
a supportive teacher and inspired us to learn all that we
could. I want to be as good a teacher as her.
Her influence and dedication to the teaching program
inspired me to follow in her footsteps.
Tell us about your experience at the U.
One of the most exceptional experiences that I have
had at the U is being involved in the Peer Advocacy
Program through the Urban Institute for Teacher
Education. We have been working hard in reaching
students who are interested in a future in education.
