Why are you interested in teaching?
I had a great role model, Nola Lodge was my step
mother and a great teacher. Watching her as a child has
encouraged me every day to make a difference. Knowing
as a minority I would have to face challenges that others
would not, it was still my responsibility to persevere,
succeed and give back to our community. I can think of
no greater reward then becoming a part of her legacy
helping others to be empowered and find the potential in
themselves.
