1. <strong>The</strong> following data covers the world merchant fleet, as per Clarksons World Fleet<br />
Monitor, February <strong>2015</strong>.<br />
2. It is a difficult exercise to accurately report ownership information for the c.90,000<br />
vessels on the Clarkson Fleet Database. In the following data we have used Clarksons<br />
Major Group indicator that groups ships under the highest level of ownership that we<br />
are aware of. Owner type is based on analysts estimates.<br />
3. Some industry data included in this discussion is based on estimates or subjective<br />
judgments in circumstances where data for actual market transactions either does not<br />
exist or is not publicly available; the published information of other maritime data<br />
collection experts may differ from this data; while we have taken reasonable care in<br />
