Description<br />
Riverside Rotary Park is a popular waterfront community park<br />
located along the banks <strong>of</strong> the Skookumchuck River between<br />
historic downtown <strong>and</strong> Interstate 5. Approximately 4.5 acres <strong>of</strong><br />
this park site was originally owned <strong>and</strong> developed by the <strong>Centralia</strong><br />
Rotary Club <strong>and</strong> later donated to <strong>Centralia</strong> in 1983. This park is<br />
now home to the city’s 44,000-square-foot regional skatepark <strong>and</strong><br />
provides a wide range <strong>of</strong> active <strong>and</strong> passive recreational<br />
opportunities. The park is fully serviced with parking areas,<br />
group picnic facilities, restrooms, shelters, play equipment, sport<br />
fields, <strong>and</strong> paved <strong>and</strong> s<strong>of</strong>t-surface walking paths. Rotary<br />
Riverside Park provides critical open space <strong>and</strong> water access to<br />
