Programs include Dislocated Workers-help for workers who have been laid-off or have received notice of<br />
termination or lay off, lost job and unlikely to return to that profession or self-employed, but the economy or<br />
natural disaster has impacted work. Employment Support Project-one on one job development and coaching for the<br />
learning or physically disabled. Adult Programs- for the economically disadvantaged who lacks the job skills and<br />
education required for gainful employment.<br />

Their purpose is to assist those who have lost their source of financial support to become economically selfsufficient.<br />
The program provides the tools necessary to identify career or school options and to gain the selfconfidence<br />
necessary to make the transition to independence. Services include information and referrals, support<br />
services and classroom instruction. The services are FREE. Eligible people must have been primarily a<br />
homemaker. This program is open from September through June.<br />

The Worker Retraining program provides funding and support for people that are currently; eligible for<br />
unemployment, have been eligible for unemployment in the last 24 months, displaced homemakers, or selfemployed.<br />
Must be a Washington State resident for at least one year.<br />
