Quality low-cost health care to children under 19, who do not have insurance and family income, is too high for<br />

Medicaid but fits within CHIP guidelines. Interested families should call for income-guidelines and admission<br />

information. Children can receive low-cost medical services they need through CHIP. Covered services include<br />

check-ups, immunizations, prescriptions, dental, vision, hearing, outpatient & inpatient hospital services and more.<br />

Program for people who are having trouble paying a hospital bill or need an operation but do not have the funds.<br />

Under the program, certain health care centers provide free or low-cost medical care to patients who cannot afford<br />

to pay. People can apply before they receive the care and after the bill has been sent to a collection agency. In <strong>Kitsap</strong><br />

County, only the <strong>Kitsap</strong> <strong>Community</strong> Health Clinic is under this plan.<br />
