Provides a variety of services to needy and homeless participants including single men’s shelter, family shelter,<br />
women and infant shelter, advocacy, support services for the homeless.<br />
Participants encouraged calling first if they live in another county due to the location.<br />

The Max Hale Center offers 33 units of single room occupancy (SRO) housing for homeless individuals. Please<br />
call for more information if needed.<br />

Provides downtown shelter referrals after-hours. Single adult men and women MUST WALK IN at 9:00 PM for<br />
intake. Single men must have a referral. Early arrivals will NOT be served. Tickets for shelter may be required at<br />
certain times of the year. The ticket distributors are Downtown Emergency Service Center, Bread of Life or see<br />
your Social Worker or local church.<br />
SEATTLE DOWNTOWN EMERGENCY SERVICE CENTER<br />

Provides shelter “tickets” when required for shelter access. Provides referrals also.<br />
SERENITY HOUSE/FAMILY SHELTER SERVICES (PORT ANGELES)<br />

Singles Shelter: (360) 452-7221 Family Shelter: (360) 504-1946<br />
24 Hour emergency shelter for single women, single men over 50, individuals with a mental illness, disability,<br />
medical issues and chemical dependency issues. Provides counseling, housing information and limited funds for<br />
prevention of homelessness, childcare and rental assistance. In addition, they provide referrals to other social<br />
service agencies.<br />
ST. MARTIN (SEATTLE)<br />

Provides emergency shelter for men 50 and older. To access, go to Lazarus Day Center: 416 2 nd Ave ext South,<br />
Seattle by 7PM. The Center is open daily from 11AM-6: 30 PM.<br />
