Evaluators to examine the course content and course learning<br />
objectives and identify those that correspond to the <strong>Blueprint</strong><br />
career management competencies and per<strong>for</strong>mance indicators.<br />
Write the appropriate per<strong>for</strong>mance indicator number beside each<br />
learning objective <strong>of</strong> the activity under review. Also, check <strong>of</strong>f the<br />
per<strong>for</strong>mance indicator on the Appendix D: <strong>Career</strong> Management<br />
Competency and Per<strong>for</strong>mance Indicator Checklist by Phase when a<br />
learning objective corresponds to it. Against each checked<br />
per<strong>for</strong>mance indictor, provide a brief description <strong>of</strong> the relevant<br />
learning activity in the evidence section. Evaluators to return<br />
completed <strong>Career</strong> Management Competency and Per<strong>for</strong>mance<br />
Indicator Checklist.<br />
Use the in<strong>for</strong>mation collected across the subject areas to map all<br />
career management competencies and per<strong>for</strong>mance indicators<br />
covered <strong>for</strong> the specific learner group.<br />
At the end <strong>of</strong> this process, you will be able to review the <strong>Career</strong><br />
Management Competency and Per<strong>for</strong>mance Indicator Checklist to<br />
see which indicators are addressed, and which are not addressed<br />
or addressed only minimally.<br />
The outcome <strong>of</strong> this evaluation will help to identify and articulate<br />
the quality career development activities that are already in place,<br />
and can assist with identifying missing elements and gaps in the<br />
career development learning <strong>of</strong> the specific group <strong>of</strong> learners.<br />
This can provide the basis <strong>for</strong> developing and introducing<br />
programs and activities which address any gaps in career<br />
development learning (refer to Section 4.5 – Selecting Learning<br />
Activities <strong>for</strong> in<strong>for</strong>mation and examples <strong>of</strong> learning activities<br />
appropriate <strong>for</strong> adult learners).<br />
You will find examples <strong>of</strong> the mapping activities <strong>of</strong> other<br />
organisations in the <strong>Blueprint</strong> Toolkit.<br />
