• The Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) outlines safety procedures that should
be followed when working with carcinogens
• Users of any regulated carcinogens are required to fill out a SOP and
Supplemental Information Form for Chemicals Requiring Cal/OSHA
Registration and submit the form to EH&S for review and approval.
• Use only inside fume hoods and regulated areas.
Notify EH&S of any exposures.
Cal-OSHA Reportable Hazardous Chemicals:
Scope: Applies to occupational settings where these chemicals are manufactured, processed, used,
repackaged, released, stored or otherwise handled.
