the field technicians who need to brush up on their math<br />

Radiation Protection Techniques for Emergency<br />

Responders - this 3- day class provides the necessary<br />

techniques the emergency responder can use to protect<br />

themselves <strong>and</strong> others from radiation exposure.<br />

Techniques presented include basic stay-time<br />

estimations, dose reduction, shielding, perimeter setup,<br />

respiratory protection, <strong>and</strong> ALARA implementation.<br />

Our instructors have an average of more than 25 years<br />

in the radiation protection field with experience in NRC,<br />

DOE, EPA, medical, military, <strong>and</strong> manufacturing<br />

facilities. Each class is led by a team of instructors who<br />
