3. When the COMInst window opens select COM port # to map the serialserver to. The default Flow Control setting is None. An RTS/CTS option isavailable if used by the application program and serial hardware. TheProtocol, IP Address, and Port Number will mirror the settings of theselected serial server.If any settings are changed in this part of the Virtual COM setup it will onlyaffect the settings in the operating system Device Manager. It will not changethe settings in the ESP901.The settings of the Virtual COM port in the Device Manager and the ESP901Configuration menu must match. If the settings do not, the softwareconnecting to the Virtual COM port will be unsuccessful in opening theCOM port.
