OFF-ROAD CAPABILITIES• Normal Ride HeightUP(NRH) – This is thestandard position of thesuspension and is meantfor normal driving. Onlythe bottom Indicator lampon the “Up” button will be illuminatedwhen the vehicle is in this position.• Off-Road 1 (OR1) (RaisesUPthe vehicle approximately1.3 in (33 mm) – Thisposition is intended foroff-road driving onlywhere vehicle speeds maygo above 25 mph (40 km/h). Pressthe “Up” button once from NRH whilevehicle speed is below 48 mph(77 km/h). The bottom two Indicatorlamps on the “Up” button will beilluminated when the vehicle is inOR1.• Off-Road 2 (OR2) (RaisesUPthe vehicle approximately2.6 in (65 mm) – Thisposition is intended foroff-road driving wheremaximum groundclearance is required. Press the “Up”button twice from NRH, or once fromOR1 position while vehicle speed isbelow 20 mph (32 km/h). All threeIndicator lamps on the “Up” buttonwill be illuminated when the vehicle isin OR2.• Park Mode (Lowers theDOWNvehicle approximately1.5 in (38 mm) – ThisPARK position lowers the vehiclefor easier passenger entryand exit. Press the“Down” button once from NRH whilethe vehicle speed is below 25 mph(40 km/h). Once the vehicle speedgoes below 15 mph (24 km/h) thevehicle height will begin to lower. TheIndicator lamp on the “Down” buttonwill be illuminated when the vehicle isin Park Mode.WARNING!• You or others could be injured ifyou leave the vehicle unattendedwith the transfer case in the N(Neutral) position without first fullyengaging the parking brake. Thetransfer case N (Neutral) positiondisengages both the front and reardriveshafts from the powertrain andwill allow the vehicle to moveregardless of the transmissionposition. The parking brake shouldalways be applied when the driveris not in the vehicle.• The air suspension system uses ahigh pressure volume of air tooperate the system. To avoidpersonal injury or damage to thesystem, see your authorized dealerfor service.Hill Start Assist/HillDescent Control• The Hill Start Assist system assists thedriver when starting a vehicle from astop on a hill.• The Hill Descent Control systemmaintains vehicle speed whiledescending hills during off-roaddriving situations and is available in4WD HIGH range and 4WD LOWrange.• Refer to your Owner's Manual on theDVD for further details.59
