A retired railroad employee, Mr. Parcels, was a Boone Co.native born July 22, 1867, a son of Darlington and Mary Ann (McIntyre) Parcels. He had lived inLebanon all of his life and was a member of the Methodist church here. He was married in 1889 toSusan Cavin, who preceded him in death in 1930. Two brothers two sisters, one son and onedaughter are also deceased Four children surviving include: Mrs. Ruby Homes of Denver, Colo.;Mrs. June Day and Mrs Mary Thorne, both of Indianapolis; and Jacob Parcels of Lebanon, Ind.He also leaves seven grandchildren.
