Markran his best 8K time (24:25) at the Auburn Invitationalto place 11 th . He crossed the line 12 th at the CAA Cross-Country Championship in a time of 25:21, earningCAA All-Conference honors. Mark was also namedCAA Cross-Country Rookie of the Year. As amember of the track team, Mark earned an All-CAAnod in the 5000-meter run, finishing second (14:30.36)at the CAA Track & Field Championships. Mark seta personal-best time in the 5000 at the prestigious PennRelays, finishing seventh in a time of 14:23.39. Markrepresented <strong>State</strong> at the IC4A Outdoor Championship,finishing the 5000 in 15 th place (14:35.89). In his only3000-meter race at the Seminole Invitational, Markfinished in first place with a time of 8:30.47. Markcompeted for <strong>Athletics</strong> Canada at the 2006 NACACU-23 Championships in Santo Domingo, DominicanRepublic. Outdoors, Nam improved his time in the200m, crossing in 22.98 for ninth place at the SeminoleInvitational. Also in Tallahassee, Nam ran his best time(51.92) in the 400 for 15 th place.Prep: Nam was a four-year member of the Norcross HighSchool track team. He was a member of the relay teamthat broke the school and county record in the 4X100m in2005. He finished seventh in the 400m dash at the region7-AAAAA championships in 2005.Personal: Nam was born on October 10, 1986 in Atlanta,Ga. He is the son of Chay and Somaly Chong.
