Ashleycompeted in the 3000m and 5000m during theindoor season for the Panthers. She ran anindoor best 19:59.94 in the 5K at the NiswongerFoundation Invitational. In the outdoor season,she ran a personal best of 10:56.05 in the 3K atthe Seminole Invitational. She ran her fastestoutdoor 5K time of the season at the Florida<strong>State</strong> Opener (19:07.73) for a 13 th place finish.Ashley earned a CAA Commissioner’sAcademic Award for her work in the classroom.2004-05: Ashley ran a season best time of 20:20at the <strong>Georgia</strong> Collegiate Championships on herway to a 27th place finish. In track, King ranthe 5,000 and 10,000-meter events during theoutdoor season. She placed 14th in the 10K atthe conference championship meet, and ran herfastest 5K of the season at the 49er Classic(19:06.05). During indoor track she ran the 3000meters, clocking a season best time of 11:09.86to place sixth at Clemson.Prep: King was third in the <strong>State</strong> of <strong>Georgia</strong> atthe Cross Country Championship Meet and thirdin the 3200 meters at the <strong>State</strong> TrackChampionships during herjunior year.
