H.S.Major: Marketing2005-06: Stephanie opened herfreshman season at <strong>State</strong> with atop-20 finish at the SeahawkInvitational in a time of 19:56. Sheposted a season-best time of 19:55in the 5K at the <strong>Georgia</strong> CollegiateChampionship. She placed 23 rd atthe CAA Cross-CountryChampionship for <strong>State</strong> with atime of 23:35 in the 6K race.Stephanie set a season-best time(5:02.62) in the 1500m at her firstoutdoor track meet, the Florida<strong>State</strong> Opener. She also set aseason-best time of 11:50.93 in the3000m Steeplechase for 10 th placeat the CAA Track & FieldChampionship. Stephanie’s gradesearned her a spot on the AthleticDirector’s Honor Roll in the fallsemester and a CAACommissioner’s Academic Award.Prep: Stephanie lettered in crosscountryand track all four years forthe Tigers of Douglas County HighSchool. She was a two timecounty champion in cross-country.In track and field she was a threetime county champion in the 3200-meter.Personal: Stephanie was born onJune 9, 1987, in Cobb County,<strong>Georgia</strong>. She is the youngest childof Wade and Debra Poore. Simcoe SecondaryMajor: EnglishChastity WilliamsSophomore - Throws - 5’10”Columbus, <strong>Georgia</strong>Columbus H.S.Major: Education2005-06: Chastity competed infour different field events in herfreshman year at <strong>Georgia</strong> <strong>State</strong>.During the indoor season, Chastitytossed the weight throw 46’5. 5”at the Virginia Tech Challenge,setting a personal-best. Heroutdoor season was just as good.Chastity had a personal-best throwof 147’8” in the hammer throw atthe Jacksonville <strong>State</strong> Invitational.Chastity set her personal-bestthrow (44’7”) in the shot put at theYellow Jacket Invitational. Shefinished sixth at the CAA Track &Field Championship with a shotput throw of 41’11.5”. Chastityhad a excellent year in theclassroom, earning a spot on theDean’s List and Athletic Director’sHonor Roll in both the fall andspring. For her hard work, shereceived a Commissioner’sAcademic Award.Prep: Williams attendedColumbus High School where sheplayed basketball and ran track forthe Blue Devils. She was the staterunner-up in the shot put as ajunior, and did one better the nextyear to earn a state championship.Personal: Chastity was born onJanuary 15, 1987 in Phoenix City,Alabama. She is the daughter ofGina Brantley and has one youngerbrother.2005-06: Megan ran outdoortrack in her freshman season at<strong>State</strong>. She ran her best time of theyear in the 800m at the YellowJacket Invitational finishing in2:20.11. Megan earned the RonCurry Determination award bythe <strong>Georgia</strong> <strong>State</strong> athleticdepartment for her drive tosucceed. Megan also performedwell in school, earning a spot onthe Dean’s List and the AthleticDirector’s Honor Roll for thespring semester. She waspresented a Commissioner’sAcademic Award by the CAA.Prep: Stewart qualified for theOFSAA Championships in bothcross-country and track all fouryears for the Governor SimcoeRedcoats. She was the bronzemedalist in the 800 meters at thechampionship meet as a junior,and her team placed third in the2002 OFSAA Cross CountryChampionship.Personal: Megan was born onJuly 5, 1987, to Vaughn andSharon Stewart in St. Catharines,Ontario.
