If you pay in two installments(September and January) with your OSAP youwill be charged the $56.00 deferment charge.Note: OSAP loans are issued in 2 installments,60% in September and the remainder in January.Paying Your Tuition and FeesStudents should check their account balanceonline through student.uwo.ca. A hard copy <strong>of</strong>your fee bill will not be mailed. Tuition fees for2011/12 first-year students are due August 2,2011. They are due August 19 for all upper yearstudents. You must check your account balanceonline.If you have made a payment at the bank oronline and it is not showing…Wait two weeks from the time you madeyour payment. If it has been longer than twoweeks, go back to your bank and trace yourfunds. Keep checking student.uwo.ca to seeif your fees are posted.Fee DefermentStudents using OSAP to pay their tuitionfees and who have an assessment that coversthe first installment fully, will be grantedan automatic fee deferral until the loans areavailable in September. The second installment<strong>of</strong> tuition will be due in January. Studentsreceiving OSAP funding may wish to payin two installments. Information about feedeferment and the deferment charge will beavailable on the fee bill. Students can avoidthe deferment fee if full tuition is paid bySeptember 30.Avoiding Additional ChargesAvoid late charges by paying the full amount<strong>of</strong> tuition by the deadline date. Be sure to contactStudent Financial Services if you have anyquestions about fee payment.How to Make a Tuition Fee PaymentPayments for tuition fees can be made viainternet banking through any Canadian bank.Your student number is your account numberfor internet payments. Be sure to pay in advance<strong>of</strong> the due date to ensure payment is receivedon time/by the deadline. Students can pay inperson at Student Central located in the <strong>Western</strong>Student Services Building with cheque or debit.Wire transfers for students out <strong>of</strong> country canbe made. Studentsin scholarship contention should pay thefull amount <strong>of</strong> their tuition fees or their firstinstallment to avoid late payment charges. Whenthe scholarship is confirmed, it will be appliedto your tuition account by September 30.
