Summary<strong>ICCS</strong> established three regional modules for Europe, Latin America, and Asia. These weredesigned to assess region-specific aspects of civic and citizenship education that were notincluded in the international data collection. Twenty-four European, six Latin American, andfive Asian countries chose to participate in these regional modules.In each of the regions, national coordinators, national experts, and international project staffworked collaboratively to develop regional instruments that addressed particular researchquestions derived from region-specific frameworks with links to the <strong>ICCS</strong> assessmentframework.
