UNIFIED SPORTS ®RULES, continued2. Divisions - Unified <strong>Sports</strong> ® teams shall be divided by age andability according to established <strong>Special</strong> <strong>Olympics</strong> divisioningprocedures found in the Official <strong>Special</strong> <strong>Olympics</strong> <strong>Sports</strong> Rules.3. Line-up - During competition, the line-up must comply with theright distribution of athletes and partners. Examples for teamsports offered are as follows:SPORT # OF ATHLETES # OF PARTNERS5v5 Soccer 3 2Flag Football 3 2Volleyball 3 3Basketball 3 2Softball 5 5Bocce (Unified Doubles) 2 2Bowling (Team) 2 2Tennis Doubles 1 1Team rosters shall be exchanged before the competition.Rosters should indicate who is an athlete and who is a partner.4. Awards - Unified <strong>Sports</strong> ® teams participating in <strong>Special</strong><strong>Olympics</strong> events will receive medals and awards in accordancewith the Official <strong>Special</strong> <strong>Olympics</strong> <strong>Sports</strong> Rules. All playersreceive awards.5. Coach - Each team shall have a NON-PLAYING coachresponsible for practice, line-up and conduct of the team duringcompetition.6. Sponsors and Uniforms - Corporations may not advertiseon the competition uniform.
