BASKETBALLEVENTS OFFERED:Traditional, Unified Team and Skills CompetitionPARTICIPATION: Athletes may compete in Individual Skills,Traditional or Unified Team CompetitionCRITERIA FOR ADVANCEMENT:Individual Skills Contest: Coaches must submit local scores fromArea competition for divisioning at the Sectional level.Individual basketball skills competition will be offered at eachBasketball Sectional Competition.Team Competition: Teams are required to compete in leagueplay in order to advance to the Sectional Tournament. First and2nd place finishers at the Sectional Tournament will advance tothe Spring Sports Festival.REGISTRATION TIMELINECoach Meeting: December 14SONJ Sports Complex, LawrencevilleLeague Registration: January 3Basketball Skills Quotas Due: January 3SECTIONAL COMPETITION/ LEAGUE PLAY:League Play: All athletes who are registered on a team musthave a valid Medical Form on file. Teams must be uniformedproperly (numbered shirt, shorts, socks, sneakers).
