ALPINE SKIINGEVENTS OFFERED: Downhill, Slalom, Giant SlalomLEVELS OFFERED: Novice, Intermediate, AdvancedMINIMAL CRITERIA FOR ALPINE SKIING: In considerationof the health and safety of the athletes who will be participatingin skiing competition, a minimal criteria has been established.In order for an athlete to be considered for novice level competition,the athlete must be able to: change direction, fall and get upunassisted, and attempt to stop on his/her own.CRITERIA FOR ADVANCEMENT: Local Training Programs willreceive a quota for the Winter Games.Athletes may compete in two events.
