Launched by Ahli DewanUndangan Negeri (“ADUN”) of Bukit Batu YangBerhormat Cheong Chin Liang, the event attracted27,000 shoppers.DECEMBER 2011Palm Garden Hotel celebrated Christmas with children fromShepard’s Home (Dengkil), Rumah Anak Yatim Shifa (KualaLumpur) and House of Joy (Puchong). 60 children and theircaretakers were treated to a hi-tea celebration and Christmasgifts. Funds raised from candy canes sold to staff and guests werealso presented to the three homes.DECEMBER 2011Putrajaya Marriott Hotel & Spa had a ChristmasCharity Benefit in line with its “To Give is to Love”theme. 35 children from Rumah Keluarga Kami(Kajang) and 25 elderly folks from Home of theLittle Sisters of the Poor (Cheras) were treated to adinner party and Christmas goodies. The hotel gaveschool uniforms and pillows to the children andelderly folks, respectively. In addition, Yayasan TSLSCdonated RM5,000 to each home.
