The system shallreceive power from the 110 volt shoreline receptacle. The compressor shall have an AC motoroperating a single cylinder air compressor designed specifically for installation on vehicles with airbrakes. The pump shall automatically start to maintain the air brake pressure. A heavy dutypressure switch is adjusted to start the compressor when the system pressure drops below 75psiand stops the compressor when 95 psi is attained. The start up pressure shallbe field adjustablethepressure defferential between start up and stopping is fixed. the compressor requires noroutine maintenance.OEM PAINTED CHASSIS RIMSThe chassis rims shall be as painted from the chassis manufacturer.CHASSIS BUILDER SUPPLIED HEAT EXCHANGERThe engine; chassis or auxiliary, providing power to drive the fire pump, shall have asupplementary cooling system that uses water from the discharge side of the pump to cool theengine coolant through the use of a closed heat exchanger. The water from the pump and theengine coolant shall not be intermixed. This cooling system shall be controlled by a valve on thepump operator's station.FUEL FILLThe fuel fill pocket shall be located in the left rear wheel well area. The fuel fill shall have a CastProducts aluminum door with bezel installed.FUEL FILL CAST DOOR - PAINT JOB COLORThe fuel fill cast door shall be painted job color, same as the body. The door frame shall have apolished aluminum finish that is provided from Cast Products.FUEL TANK GAUGE ACCESSThere shall be access provided in the torque box for service of the fuel tank gauge without need forremoving the fuel tank.THIRD PARTY CERTIFICATIONSAll bids shall include copies of the certification of testing of the aerial device. The purchaserdesires a device that has been tested by a third party for compliance with the 2 to 1 safety factorspecified by NFPA Pamphlet 1901, latest edition. Devices that have not been certified by anengineer that is independent of the manufacturer shall not be acceptable.Welds shall be tested using two (2) Non-Destructive methods by a third party inspection firm.
